Back with new computer

After weeks of troublesome computer and then dead computer and then new monitor but no computer and then new computer and wrong adaptor to attach to new monitor, I have a new Mac Mini (which is cute beyond words in addition to being very energy efficient) and can now catch up on two weeks + of back internet.
