The Latest from Me

Saw “Red” the other night. Not a plot twist I didn’t see coming a mile off but wonderfully acted and funny. Helen Mirren as an assassin was a hoot!
Tried to watch the Kevin Costner “Robin Hood” so as to enjoy all the Rickman goodness but couldn’t manage it. Boy, was poor Mr. Costner mis-cast. He was so awful I just gave up about 20 minutes in.
Winter has suddenly arrived in Montana with a dump of about six inches of wet, heavy snow and road closures. Single digit temperatures coming this weekend. Time to plug in the Christmas lights I never take down!
Mom is about the same as she has been since she got over her cold. Not getting out of bed but still eating just fine. We are planning Thanksgiving as usual.
Had a vague thought for a Harry Potter story but it faded away. Sigh. I am taking the week of Thanksgiving off so maybe it will come back.
Also starting to think of Christmas gifts. Have no money, mind you, so nothing excessive. I sort of have health insurance but it sucks big time. Wish I were a Congressman so I could complain about having to wait a whole month for my excellent insurance to kick in.
Harry Potter opens with a midnight show. I am working the usual Saturday night shift. Should be fun. Not.
