I'm also dealing with the blahs. And thanks to all the snow and my aching rapidly-aging body, I'm beginning to understand better why folks retire south. Loathe though I am to admit it, I'm starting to think that it might not look so bad to me in 15-20 years. I just shoveled 3 inches of snow off the damn walk, my elbow is killing me as a result, and it's snowing cats and dogs again. Meanwhile, the hubby is in sunny San Diego.
On the plus side, this is a good time to curl up with hot chocolate and a good book, or to take a long soak in a hot tub.
Have you considered one of those Seasonal Affective Disorder light treatment things? One of my mother-in-law's friends swears by them. I hate hot weather, but find I really do have more energy when it's bright and sunny out. Things have been so gray lately that I'm dragging.
